Japanese Spitz

I went to Pasir Ris Farmway a few weeks ago after the Dog Carnival at East Coast Park to play with the pups there recently.
It makes me miss Teddy so much!
Its almost a year since he's gone and the house is too quiet without him around. :/

My family and I saw the Japanese Spitz and fell in love with it almost immediately.
The puppy looks like an immensely sleepy furball, freaking cute.

The Japanese Spitz is a pretty good house dog which seldom barks and its rather intelligent and learns quickly. & its HDB approved so it isn't much of a problem for us.

The only problem is my coming NS commitments, and i won't be at home most of the time.
I guess i should get one after all these commitments are over (:

Below are pictures of Japanese Spitz I found over the internet. Aren't they cute?

NTU Open House & Chilling

It was NTU's Open House yesterday and it was my first visit to NTU's campus. It was pretty huge with the different colleges spread quite a distance apart and it feels like a city in a city tucked in the corner of Singapore.

Did i mention that the residences were awesome?
Especially Halls 3 and 16. It comes together with a condo styled apartment with air-conditioning, badminton courts, canteens, dance studios and a personal library. Just everything to make one's university life perfect :)

But the allocation of the halls are at random so its really up to luck.
Oh well, we'll stress about only if i manage to get into NTU.
The competition for admission is so tough!

After the Open House, Mel's friend drove us down to Suntec for the IT Show.
It was really packed and squeezy, probably cause it was a Saturday.
Oh, and i saw the Acer Predator G3610 retailing for only $1099!
& i bought it 2 weeks ago at Funan for $1499 ._.

Cabbed down to Maxwell market for dinner with Dania after that.
Maxwell used to have lots of awesome food, but i guess the quality has since dropped.
We bought like rojak, oyster cake, carrot cake and fried gyoza, but it didn't taste anywhere out of the ordinary. It was a wasted trip!

Oh by the way, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 25s and 100 films i ordered arrived!
& we were chilling by the poolside spamming photos.
Princess wanted to come into the photo so bad she kept pawing my chest and whining. So cute.
In the end we included her and she's like soo happy, haha.
Spammed 15 polariod films in the end.
$15 gone down the drain :P

Gonna go shopping for a pin-up board soon to pin up all future polariod shots!

The only thing standing between our hapiness and us is our own choices.

I'd expected us to be stronger & happier after the five months we were apart.
The last obstacle, the ending point we've been looking forward to.
Everything we've talked about every night on the phone for the past five months.
The time has come.

But i've never expected that you'd choose to let go.
I've never knew that feelings for me could have been gone so easily, coming from a person who never failed to talk to me everyday that we're apart.
Now im back, you're gone.

Maybe you'll never understand how much i cared for you and the times i'd always been there for you,
For you to say that you don't feel me anymore.

Cherish what you have today because its a god-given gift.
Its not easy for people to love each other mutually.
Love keeps us going, despite setbacks. Thats our key to happiness.
For that, i'm a failure for not being able to keep you.
But im happy i tried.

I guess you'll never understand and appreciate me.. until my presence is gone from your life.
But im thankful, for the memories that someone used to care.

Choices.

New Haircut & Colour

Been keeping my hair long for the past three years, so I got a change of scene and kept my hair short! To think that i've been kinda upset over the haircut and the colour, cause it looked terrible out of the dresser's. After a week, it seems pretty good, maybe it grew out of its 'weirdness'. Haha.

But the people at camp said I looked weird and the colour don't suit my brows.
I guess everyone's still not used to my short cut :3

Back in Singapore

I finally came back to Singapore from Beijing on 12th February, and for a moment i forgot how warm this place feels like! A thirty-five degree increase in temperature the moment I stepped out the airport.
My first drop of sweat in 5 months.

The choice to go for the overseas internship is one i'll never forget for life. Making new friends, learning new skills, interacting with people all over the world, and adjusting myself to an entirely different environment. But the most admirable thing is the respect the company gives its employees. I've never felt like an intern during this period, or rather, an employee who has an involvement in decision making, idea sharing and that my opinions are valued and respected in the department.

One of the best things i've experienced there is the inclusiveness. Everyone makes friends with each other, include them in their circle of friends, and they won't abandon you in the face of trouble. Maybe thats the positive side of a slower paced society where everything remains simple and innocent, with no high barriers to friendship.

Another admirable fact is how generous people are. In our society, most of the time we'll go dutch whenever we're out with our friends. It surprises me how our peers refuse to let us pay everytime, even when they earn a mere 800 rmb a month, less than a third of what we were earning. I learnt something, i guess.

They even cried on the last day we left, especially the new local interns who hardly met us for more than a month. I felt the friendship & my only regret is to not be able to spend more time with them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking back at my photo collection of my 5 months there, I've got almost 7,500 (16GB) worth of photos.
I wonder how long i would take to upload and blog everything, haha.

Should i blog everything according to their dates, or just a long picture summary blog of the trip? *Dilema
Oh well, watch this space again. I'll be blogging again pretty soon!
